At Rigton Insurance Services Ltd we are General Insurance Brokers dealing with commercial businesses, non-profit making ventures, and private clients throughout the UK. We have been trading for over 35 years, first in Harrogate and since 1986 in the heart of Guiseley. 

We are authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (ref 118666) with our business being built upon professional and high service standards. We create close working partnerships with our clients which are fast becoming unique. This is why many of our clients have been with us for years and recommended us to friends and business colleagues.

At Rigtons we draw on our significant experience in the insurance industry, providing our clients with a first class service by delivering tailored insurance solutions, claims guidance and risk management support across all industry sectors.

We are proud of our close client relationships, recognised in 2007 when we were one of the first brokers nationwide to be awarded premier Chartered Insurance Broker status; the industry's gold standard currently met by fewer than 150 firms. 

In making this award the Chartered Insurance Institute said "this title is only awarded to firms committed to developing and maintaining the knowledge and capability of their people so they can deliver the highest quality of advice...in an ethical manner that places clients' interests at the heart of the advice they give."

Chartered status brings with it serious obligations. We are required to ensure the advice, service and ongoing support we provide to you is:

• provided by someone operating within their level of competency

Only the UKs premier broking firms qualify for the status and just 133 firms currently hold the title.

We are members of the British Insurance Brokers Association (BIBA.)

We are also proud to be in the top 1,000 UK insurance brokerages (compiled by Plimsoll Publishing Ltd). We received a four star 'Strong' rating awarded to just 475 firms.
