Roland was brought up and educated in London. After managing regional offices for a national insurance company he became Managing Director of Rigtons in 1986. Roland has a wealth of knowledge in all classes of insurance, built over 30 years, but particularly in the Model Industry, Buses and Coaches, Preserved vehicles and Heritage Railways.

Margaret has developed strong relationships with senior Motor Underwriters, most particularly in Lloyds. In a very competitive market she is a specialist in handling and placing Motor Fleet covers and managing our personal client portfolio including Property Owners and Liability Insurances. Margaret is responsible for many of our larger and long standing Fleet operator accounts.

Matthew is our Commercial Manager focusing on Property, High Risk Liability, Engineering/ Construction, Railways, Buses and Coaches, Standard Fleet, and Marine clients throughout the UK. With significant experience in reviewing tailored risk management procedures, Matthew can conduct a thorough review of your insurance portfolio at your premises. Additionally, Matthew has responsiblity for our in-house delegated authority insurances, underwriting policies on behalf of a number of insurance companies.

Julia has particular expertise in Property Owners and High Net Worth insurances, and uniquely for Buses, Coaches and Minibuses. Julia has developed excellent contacts in the Lloyd’s market with the most prestigious insurers and places new business fleets of a significant size including Liability cover. Allied to this Julia has a leading role in our very successful Preserved vehicle Insurance scheme with Chaucer.

Howard joined Rigtons from a prestigious St Helen’s brokerage where he was instrumental to their success. Howard has considerable experience in placing Commercial and Residential Property covers including Liability. Howard negotiates renewal terms for our clients in the Company market and Lloyds, and places new business for a wide variety of trades. He is available to visit you at your premises to discuss an insurance portfolio. Howard is also responsible for underwriting many of our in-house insurance schemes.
