Roland began his insurance career in London and after moving north in the 1980's he managed regional offices for a national insurance company. In 1986 he become Managing Director of Rigtons. As an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute, Roland has a wealth of knowledge in all classes of insurance and focuses on key client accounts. As a genuine enthusiast, he has a particular specialism in the model and transport industries.

After holding a senior role for a national bank, Margaret became Director at Rigtons. An Institute Registered Insurance Broker, Margaret works closely with Motor and Liability Underwriters in Lloyds of London. In a very competitive market she is a specialist in handling and placing Motor Fleet covers and managing our personal client portfolio, particularly Property Owners and High Net Worth insurances. Margaret negotiates on behalf of many prestigious Fleet clients.

With key expertise in the railway industry, Matthew advises mainline, heritage and narrow gauge railways on their insurance requirements. With responsibility for our in-house delegated authority insurances, Matthew underwrites Retailers and Commercial Combined policies on behalf of a number of insurance companies.

Julia joined Rigtons in 2005 and has over 10 years insurance experience. Her particular expertise is fleets, Property Owners and High Net Worth insurances. Julia has considerable experience in insurance for buses, coaches and minibuses through her excellent contacts in the Lloyd’s market. Allied to this, Julia has a leading role in our very successful preserved vehicle insurance scheme with Chaucer.

Howard joined Rigtons from a well known St Helen’s brokerage where he was instrumental to their success. Howard's knowledge extends to all classes of commercial covers and as well as new business he negotiates renewal terms for our clients in the Company market and Lloyds. Howard has wide experience of the heritage rail market and underwrites our binder facilities.
